Following the release of the first developer beta of macOS Sierra last week, Apple today has made the Safari 10 beta available for users on El Capitan and Yosemite. This means that developers can test the upcoming version of Safari without having to update their entire operating system.
A handful of features are limited to macOS Sierra, however, including Apple Pay on the web and Picture in Picture. Nevertheless, a host of feature are available to Yosemite and El Capitan users. Some features are limited to El Capitan, however, including Spotlight suggestions. The full breakdown can be seen below:

Earlier this month, we reported that with Safari 10 on macOS Sierra, Adobe Flash will be disabled by default. That means that websites will serve HTML5 interfaces as often as possible, but Safari 10 will also allow users to temporarily enable flash on a case-by-case basis or site-wide. This should lead to better performance, better power efficiency, and improved security, all areas in which Flash has hindered the Mac before.
Extensions For Safari El Capitan Update
Currently, Safari 10 is available for developers on both OS X 10.11.6 and OS X 10.10.5. It will, of course, be available to public beta testers next month when mac OS Sierra is also released to public testers. It will be released to everyone this fall.
